\u0130slam tarihinde vak\u0131f m\u00fcesseseleri, insanlar\u0131n ve di\u011fer canl\u0131lar\u0131n yarar\u0131na olan muhtelif hizmetleri ifa etmek i\u00e7in tesis edilmi\u015flerdir. \u0130nsanl\u0131\u011fa kar\u015f\u0131l\u0131ks\u0131z hay\u0131r yapman\u0131n, yard\u0131m etmenin, uzla\u015fman\u0131n, varl\u0131kl\u0131 olandan muhta\u00e7 olana kaynak tahsis etmenin en g\u00fczel \u00f6rne\u011fini sergilemektedir. Vak\u0131flar, b\u00fct\u00fcn bunlar\u0131n g\u00f6n\u00fcll\u00fcl\u00fck esas\u0131na dayanan tarzda yerine getirildi\u011fi bir k\u00fclt\u00fcr ve sosyal g\u00fcvenlik kurumu olmu\u015flard\u0131r. Vak\u0131f gelene\u011finin devam\u0131n\u0131 sa\u011flamak maksad\u0131yla bu tesislerin giderlerini kar\u015f\u0131layan akar nitelikli ticar\u00ee ve zira\u00ee i\u015fletmeler tahsis ederek sa\u011fl\u0131kl\u0131 bir toplum hayat\u0131n\u0131n devam\u0131na hizmet etmi\u015flerdir. Abstract:<\/span><\/h1>\n

Within Islamic history, waqfs have been established in order to fulfill various services to the benefit of both humans and other living beings. These waqfs set the best example of doing voluntary charity work for humanity without demanding anything, helping people, contributing to social reconciliation, as well as ensuring a flow of funds from the rich to the poor. They have been cultural and social security institutions where aforementioned services have been performed on a voluntary basis. In order to ensure the continuance of the tradition of waqfs, these waqfs have been provided with commercial and agricultural enterprises having the quality of real property to meet their expenses, as a result of which these waqfs have served the continuance of a healthy social life. Additionally, they have played a significant role in the development of social and economic life of the Islamic countries, including that of the Ottoman Empire.<\/p>\n
