The updates made to the HKU Learning Management System in the 2020-2021 Spring semester are listed below.<\/p>\n
\u25cf Exam participation reports of students can be viewed page by page (with options of 10, 20 or 50 people),
\n\u25cf The ability to unpublish assignments after they have been published,
\n\u25cf The ability to download students’ exam answers as PDF,
\n\u25cf Bulk download of assignments,
\n\u25cf Links added to the course wall open in a new tab when clicked,
\n\u25cf All page numbers on the exam viewing screen of students are visible,
\n\u25cf The ability to return to questions depends on the instructor’s preference,
\n\u25cf In multiple-choice exams, students mark the leave this question blank option in order to leave a question blank,
\n\u25cf Bulk download of class questions as PDF,
\n\u25cf The download file tab in exams and assignments works actively,
\n\u25cf Access to fall semester archive courses is provided.
\n\u25cf Fall semester course video recordings are archived.
\n\u25cf Exam copying.
\n\u25cf Exam Cancellation (an ongoing exam can be cancelled entirely)
\n\u25cf Leave question blank option.
\n\u25cf The question viewing date and the answering date are recorded separately and reported in the exam detail report.
\n\u25cf File download and upload dates are recorded separately and reported in exam reports.
\n\u25cf In areas where files are uploaded, the uploaded file can be downloaded again for verification, and the file name and size are logged.
\n\u25cf The default number of 5 options in scanned questions can be edited when creating the question.
\n\u25cf Improvements in exam detail reports.
\n\u25cf Search added to the exam participant list.
\n\u25cf Improvement in the exam extension function: exams can be extended instantly without waiting for the exam to end, and notifications are sent to students.
\n\u25cf Improvement in the exam cancellation function: notifications are sent to students instantly when an exam is cancelled.
\n\u25cf Import of courses, academics and students via Excel
\n\u25cf LDAP-independent user login.
\n\u25cf Recordings of courses held without participants can be saved (screen sharing is required for the recording to be active).
\n\u25cf Recordings of meetings held without participants can be saved.
\n\u25cf Increased filters on search screens throughout the system.
\n\u25cf Addition of row numbers on listing screens.
\n\u25cf For data groups consisting of two or more pages, after accessing the row detail of any page and returning, the user can continue from the page where they left off.
\n\u25cf Calendar control added to date fields.
\n\u25cf On all screens where documents can be added, a direct file download feature has been added in place of the Google Docs Viewer feature.
\n\u25cf Date error in Safari browsers fixed.
\n\u25cf Uploaded files can be previewed or downloaded before being saved.
