The Distance Education Application and Research Center operates under the Rectorate of Hasan Kalyoncu University.
As the Distance Education Application and Research Center, our primary goal is to ensure that distance education activities at our university are carried out effectively in line with the needs of the information society, to identify and meet the training needs of the university’s instructors in making distance education effective, to carry out original research and projects in response to distance education needs, and, in light of all these efforts, to continuously improve distance education activities.

The vision of the Distance Education Application and Research Center is to integrate information and communication technologies with education and instruction to ensure effective teaching, and, in cooperation with internal and external stakeholders, to spread a culture of excellence across all distance education activities carried out at our university.

The mission of the Distance Education Application and Research Center is to ensure that all courses and programs delivered through distance education at our university are carried out effectively; to identify and meet the training needs of instructors in making distance education effective; to support interaction and cooperation among academic units in order to ensure the integrity of distance education activities at the university; to carry out original research and projects in response to distance education needs and, in light of all these efforts, to continuously improve distance education activities; to create a learning and teaching environment in line with the distance education policies set by higher education authorities; and to be an innovation-driven and needs-oriented center.
